Shawnee Police officials have advised that Will Rogers Elementary no longer needs to follow soft lockdown procedures. We will continue our after-school program as normal. There will be an enhanced police presence during today's pickup out of an abundance of caution.

Juniors will be completing the ACT and CCRA tests this Thursday and Friday. All other students will be virtual learning Thursday and Friday. This schedule only applies for Shawnee High School. Students will access their work through Canvas and may reach out to teachers through email with questions. Juniors will report to campus in person at regular school start time. Please make sure your student is on time for testing Thursday and Friday.
The next Title VI Indian Education Public Hearing - Parent Committee Meeting will be held at the Board of Education Conference Room, 326 N. Union St., on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. Parents of Native American students are encouraged to attend.

Earlier today our SHS boys soccer team's bus was involved in a minor, non-injury accident. All students and staff are safe. SHS staff contacted emergency personnel out of an abundance of caution. We appreciate the staff of Noble Public Schools for offering assistance and for transporting the soccer team back to the Noble tournament so the boys team could ride back home to Shawnee with the girls team.
