Eight Shawnee High School students were recently named to the East Central Oklahoma Choral Directors' Association (ECOCDA) District Honor Choir.
The students are Ethan Anderson, 9th grade; Gregorio Arzola, 12th grade; Marilyn Bartley, 12th grade; Ainsley Crane, 10th grade; Cooper Dunn, 9th grade; Faith Lynn, 12th grade; Sarah Peters, 12th grade; and Wyatt Walling, 11th grade.
The Honor Choir concert is scheduled for 7 p.m., Nov. 7, in the Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie. The concert will be free and open to the public.
