Sequoyah celebrated International Dot Day this past Friday, September 15. This is a day where we wear dots and celebrate creativity, courage and collaboration. We also do a school-wide art project inspired by The Dot, which is written by Peter H. Reynolds. In the book, the main character learns to just make a mark and see where it takes her. Also, artist Wassily Kandinsky said, "Everything starts from a dot."
