Shawnee Public Schools will be issuing a universal behavior screener to 1st and 2nd grade students in March in conjunction with Project RESPECT. The screener asks teachers to answer questions concerning individual student behaviors with parental permission.

Active consent forms will be sent to families in February. The screener questions that will be asked about each student are listed below.

Project RESPECT is a grant program through the AVEDIS Foundation and the Oklahoma State Department of Education that aims to improve student wellness. For more information, contact Michelle Wallace, coordinator of career development and community partnerships.
