Shawnee Middle School is proud to announce that 8th grader Grace Clemmons has been selected for the Junior High All-State Treble Choir, an honor she has achieved for the second consecutive year. This incredible accomplishment highlights Grace’s dedication and talent in vocal music.

Last month, students from Shawnee Middle School auditioned alongside hundreds of middle schoolers from across Oklahoma for the highly competitive OkCDA All-State Junior High Choir. Grace was one of only 150 students chosen to participate in the All-State Treble Choir, which will perform next month in Oklahoma City.

"Grace has worked so hard since August to prepare for this audition," said Shawnee Middle School Choir Director Ms. McKenzie Graves. "We are extremely proud of the dedication she continues to show in pursuing her passion for music. This is a huge accomplishment and well-deserved recognition for her efforts."

The Junior High All-State Treble Choir is a prestigious ensemble that brings together the top middle school vocalists from across the state, providing students with a chance to perform at a high level and showcase their talents.

The Shawnee Public Schools community celebrates Grace’s hard work and success, and we look forward to seeing her shine on stage in Oklahoma City.
