Shawnee Public Schools wants to hear from our community.
Dr. Aaron Espolt, superintendent of Shawnee Public Schools, will lead a series of listening forums to gather feedback from the Shawnee community about their aspirations and goals for our school district.
“We at Shawnee Public Schools work every day to honor the choice of our parents, our students, and our staff members to be a part of our school district,” Espolt said. “Listening to our community members is essential to making our school district the best it can be for Shawnee.”
The community forums will begin at 6 p.m. at each of the following locations and dates:
- August 28, Shawnee Public Library Community Room A/B
- August 29, First United Bank - Shawnee Harrison Community Room
- This forum will also be live streamed by ShawneeCTV on their Facebook page.
- September 7, Shawnee High School Library
- Enter on the west side of SHS; look for signs.
Espolt and other SPS administrators and staff will be on hand to listen to community input, answer questions, and explain the current status of the district’s storm recovery.
More community forums will be announced throughout the school year.
Shawnee Public Schools is proud to offer our students and staff a safe, healthy environment in which to learn, work, and play.
