At Shawnee Public Schools, we honor the trust our community has given us by being responsible with our finances. We strive to make our community's financial investment in the school district go further by seeking and securing grant opportunities that provide our learners with a high quality education. In fact, our district has received multiple grants the past few years that have provided millions of dollars in extra funding for our schools.

In 2016, the Shawnee community approved a multimillion-dollar bond issue to invest in our school district. We are proud that all but one of the bond projects are now completed, and the final project - a new elementary school site - will break ground soon. We honor the investment our community has made by working to complete these projects responsibly and ahead of schedule.
