SMS Counseling Vision: The vision of the School Counseling Program at Shawnee Middle School is that all students will demonstrate resilience and will be productive, compassionate members contributing to their communities, and will hold a healthy self regard.

SMS Counseling Mission: The mission of the Shawnee Middle School Counseling Program is to cultivate partnerships between students, staff, families, and community members in order to remove academic, career, and social/emotional barriers. Furthermore, the program delivers intentional, individualized, evidence-based, data informed activities and interventions to support access and success for all students.
